HEY ROMEO SIGNS ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH JUSTIN BOOTS!

Justin Boot Company® Signs Hey Romeo and Gord Bamford New Endorsements Expand Brand Awareness in the Canadian Marketplace

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Justin Boot Company® , the leader in western and equine footwear, announced endorsement agreements with Canadian country star Gord Bamford and Canadian band Hey Romeo. The signing of these musicians is part of the footwear brand’s initiative to expand brand awareness in the Canadian marketplace.

Gord Bamford, an Australian-born and Alberta-raised singer/songwriter, is a multiple CCMA award winner & Juno nominated singer/songwriter, 2010 CCMA Male Artist of The Year, and the 2012 CCMA Songwriter of the Year. He released his highly anticipated 5th studio album and major label debut with Sony Music Canada, “Is It Friday Yet”, on March 6, 2012. Just as important as his music career are his philanthropic efforts, and the Gord Bamford Charitable Foundation has raised over $1,000,000 in the past five years to support local charities. In 2010, Gord Bamford received the CCMA Humanitarian Award.

“I am extremely excited to be part of the Justin Boot Family. I have worn different models of Justin Boots over the years, both on the stage and on the farm, and in my opinion, there is just not a better boot out there,” said Gord Bamford. “I am looking most forward to representing the iconic Justin Boot brand.”

Hey Romeo, made up of Rob Shapiro, Darren Gusnowsky, and Stacie Roper, was formed in 2002 in the Alberta country music scene, and they have since grown into a national sensation. Described as an energetic blend of modern and traditional country, vintage folk, and rock and roll, Hey Romeo has earned accolades as the 2011 and 2012 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Group of the Year.

“We are excited to be partnering with Justin Boots. The brand is a great representation of the country lifestyle, and working with Justin Boots is a natural fit,” said Stacie Roper, lead vocalist for Hey Romeo. “It is a great feeling to get to be a part of the Justin Boots roster and the opportunities that come with it.”

The addition of these artists will allow Justin Boots the ability to increase their level of engagement with both retailers and consumers. As an added benefit to retailers, Justin Boots will provide stores with the opportunity to encourage sales through the use of concert tickets and meet and greet passes as sales incentives and giveaways.

The musicians will also provide relevant content for the brand to share with their Canadian fan base online.

“We are very excited to be able work with these talented acts. Our goal is to be as involved with the western lifestyle in Canada as we are in the United States, and this will help us achieve this. Both Hey Romeo and Gord Bamford have extensive fan bases and fit well within all that the Justin Boots brand represents.”
