Newest Royalty signees Robyn and Ryleigh are looking forward to their debut release for the label on May 18th.

I Found You‘ is a fun, uptempo country-rock tune custom made for summer radio play and country club dance floors. The girls wrote IFY with guitar player Chris Reardon, who has written for American Idol semifinalists among others. Their all star studio band included Pat Steward (Bryan Adams, The Odds), John Webster (Tom Cochrane, Stonebolt) and Dennis Marcenko (Colin James, k.d. Lang) and underscores the fact that R + R can rock out with the boys.

The girls will be continuing work on their upcoming EP at OCL Studios near Calgary in mid-June.
Robyn and Ryleigh will be performing across B.C. and into Alberta this spring and early summer, with plans to head further East as the year progresses.’

JASON GREELEY RELEASES NEW SINGLE “SLAMMIN DOORS”!

Jason Greeley Slammin Doors(1)

PRODUCED by:
Bart McKay

Session players:
Murray Pulver, Derek Stremel, Chad Melchert

“I’m very happy and excited along with my label Royalty Records to be releasing Slammin’ Doors. Followers of my music have been asking me to release this song for many years now and it never felt right until now. I wrote this song when I was 24 years old. It was actually the fastest song I’ve ever written. I wrote it in about three hours and oddly enough, aside from recording it four different times in 12 years, nothing lyrically has changed about the song since.

I believe it makes for one hell of a story. 12 years after it was written and four recordings later and now I’m finally ready to let it go!”

“WASN’T THAT A PARTY”

A cover of The Irish Rovers song!

“I’ve been listening to this song ever since I was a kid. I remember seeing the Irish rovers television show with my family in the early 80’s and loving it. Music was a big part of my life from a real early age. With its tradition Irish feel, its always been a song that reminds me of home, my crazy fun family and very much a song us east coasters love to lay claim to.

I’ve been playing live music in clubs festivals, big venues and every where else unimaginable and this song was always a song that got people moving in a big way. Young or old. Its a universal song for all ages and everyone knows most of the words. Always a hit when I break it out!” — Jason Greeley
