CHRIS BUCK BAND TAKE HOME ALBUM OF THE YEAR AT THE 2017 BC COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

Chris Buck Band was nominated in 7 categories and took home Album of the Year.

Released early Spring 2017 and signed in 2016 with Royalty Records / Sony Music Canada, Chris Buck Band’s debut album, boasts over 2.2 million streams on Spotify, featuring 4x top 40 country radio hits including, “Leave Your Light On“, the club country dance sensation “Giddy Up“, “Sun Sets Down” and their billboard top 20 radio smash “That’s When You Know ft Kira Isabella”.

Alongside this incredible accolade, band member Phil Puxley won Special Instrument of the Year for Banjo and Jeff Johnson of Baileyway Entertainment took home Producer of the Year.

It’s an honour to get to share in the creative processes and recorded journeys of the artists and bands I produce. The award show was hosted on Sunday October 22nd, 2017 at the Molson Canadian Theatre (formally Red Robinson Theatre) – Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam, BC, where winners were revealed.

CHRIS BUCK BAND NOMINATED FOR THEIR 1ST CCMA AWARD!

July 12, 2017 (Toronto, ON) – The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) announced the final nominees, in which eight (8) CCMA Awards will be presented during the 2017 CCMA Awards Show.  Chris Buck Band were amongst those announced today, up for their 1st CCMA Award Nomination for “Video of the Year” for “That’s When You Know” featuring Kira Isabella. The show will be broadcast from the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Sunday, September 10 at 8 p.m. (8:30 p.m. NT) on CBC.

ROYALTY RECORDS WELCOMES CHRIS BUCK BAND TO THE ROSTER!

Royalty Records announces Chris Buck Band, as the newest singing and act to join the labels roster.

In the past year Chris Buck and the band have had an incredible level of success as independent Canadian country artists – writing their own music, booking their own shows, while putting every drop of their collective energy into their live performances.

Their debut 2015 single, “Leave Your Light On”, was received very positively and hit Top 40 on Canadian Country Radio Billboards (BDS Charts). Their follow up single, “Giddy Up”, peaked at #34 on Canadian Country Radio Charts, was Top 10 on Itunes (Country) for 4 weeks straight and their music video was added to CMT Canada.

The BC Country Music Association (BCCMA) 2014/ 2015 Country Club Act of the Year and 2015 Group/Duo of the year. Chris Buck Band has performed over 100 live shows this past year. They are quickly becoming known as one of the busiest country performers on the west coast of Canada and have also had the opportunity to open for such artist’s as Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Colt Ford and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band to name a few. Their live show is fun, energetic and it will be hard to sit still during their live set!
